September 8, 2010 By admin

The couple connected to the southwest Missouri group home that burned in 2008 will go on trial January 13th in the civil cases filed against them. Eleven people died in the fire at the Anderson Guest House. Robert and Laverne DuPont and their now-defunct River of Life Ministries face five lawsuits. They also face 18 federal charges of money laundering and health care fraud. The federal trial is coming up on the 20th.

The DuPonts have agreed to waive jury trials and let judges decide the cases.
