A national veteran’s organization has picked a Perryville man as its commander. Former Navy Seebee Jerry Hotop is the new leader of AMVETS. Hotop also is an Army veteran.
Hotop was in the Army for three years and then was a Seabee in the Naval Reserve. He was the commander of the Missouri AMVETS for three years.
