In an effort to reach the NFL-mandated 53-player roster limit, the St. Louis Rams have made the following roster moves by waiving WR Danario Alexander, G Roger Allen III, LB Devin Bishop, LB Cardia Jackson, CB Marquis Johnson, T Ryan McKee, WR Brandon McRae, G Drew Miller, FB Dennis Morris, QB Keith Null, RB Chris Ogbonnaya, DT Ernest Reid and DB Antoine Thompson.
However, once Alexander quickly cleared waivers, the former Mizzou star was signed to the practice squad. The Rams also brought back CB Marquis Johnson, T Ryan McKee, WR Brandon McRae, G Drew Miller.Â
The Rams also terminated the contracts of vested veterans DE Victor Adeyanju, CB Quincy Butler and LB Bobby Carpenter. S Kevin Payne (knee) and T Eric Young (knee) were placed on the reserve/injured list.
