Unless the Chiefs sign another quarterback, they will dress just two for the season opener next Monday night against the Oakland Raiders. The team cut third stringer Tyler Palko, but did sign him to the practice squad, leaving just starter Matt Cassel and backup Brodie Croyle on the 53 man roster.

In other practice squad moves, the team added, wide receiver Verran Tucker, offensive linemen Darryl Harris and Bobby Greenwood, defensive linemen Garrett Brown and Dion Gales, linebacker Pierre Walters and defensive back Ricky Price.

Late on Saturday, the Chiefs traded Jarrod Page, the holdout safety to New England for an undisclosed draft pick. The team also cut former Missouri Tiger offensive lineman Collin Brown who was a fifth round draft pick last season, but missed all of last year with an injury.
