Now that school has started, it’s all afternoon practices for the Missouri Tigers. They’ll practice again Wednesday at 3:45 p.m., then hold their final scrimmage of the fall practice schedule on Thursday.

Here’s an update on the depth chart at quarterback. Freshmen James Franklin is still number two behind Blaine Gabbert, but Ashton Glaser has moved up to number three spot ahead of Tyler Gabbert and last year’s back up Jimmy Costello who are both listed fourth.

Gary Pinkel would not comment on what disclipinary action will be taken on linebacker Will Ebner following his arrest on Sunday for suspicion of drunk driving. Pinkel did hint that Jerrell Jackson who is out with a broken wrist could wear a cast and might be able to play in the Illinois game. Jackson had surgery to stabilize the wrist while it healed. To be honest, I’m not sure how effective a receiver is going to be with a cast on his hand.

After Thursday’s scrimmage, which I’ll have video and audio from, the media is shut out of Mizzou practices for all but one half hour from the end of the scrimmage until their season opener on Saturday September 4th against Illinois.
