A juvenile has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting at the Boone County Fair in Columbia last month.
His name is not being released, because he’s 14-years-old. A Boone County Sheriff’s Detective says the juvenile is accused ot shooting an 18-year-old at the Fair July 23rd. The older teen-ager has been released from a local hospital.
The detective says investigators orginally thought the shooting might be gang releated, but he’s skeptical of that now.
