Cincinnat Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto received a seven game suspension and a undisclosed fine from Major League Baseball for kicking his way out of a brawl during Tuesday night’s game.

He scratched Chris Carpenter’s back and cut Jason LaRue’s face as well as handing the back up catcher a slight concussion.

The Reds’ Brandon Phillips and Russ Springer (a former Cardina) along with Yadier Molina and Chris Carpenter from the Cardinals were fined. Managers Tony LaRussa and Dusty Baker each were suspended two games. LaRussa will sit out tomorrow and Saturday’s game against the Cubs.
