Former MU wrestler Mark Ellis, who was the Division I heavyweight national title in 2009, has followed the footsteps of Ben Askren, another former Mizzou wrestling champ by signing a contract to fight in Mixed Martial Arts.
Ellis signed a contract with a top MMA agency. Tyron Woodley, a third Mizzou wrestler also fights in MMA.
