After giving up a run in the top of the tenth inning to give the Toronto Bluejays a 4-3 lead, the Royals found a way to come back to win scoring two in the bottom of the inning of Jays’ closer Kevin Gregg. The win snapped a six game losing streak.

Kyle Farnsworth gave up a single in the 10th inning to break a 3-3 tie and put Toronto up by a run.  The Royals quickly put the pressure back on Gregg with Scott Podsednik’s lead off triple and sac fly from Jason Kendall.  With two outs, Gregg walked Billy Butler and Jose Guillen.  With Chris Getz running for Butler, Alberto Callaspo singled up Getz with a hit up the middle.

The Jays took a 3-1 lead in the seventh when former Royal John Buck singled in a run before the Royals tied it to force exta innings.  Farnsworth got the win to go 3-0.  Kyle Davies is winless in eight starts, went seven innings allowing three runs.  His last win came on May 28th.
