The Missouri Tiger basketball team is set for two appearances on Big Monday. The first will come at home on January 17th against K-State. That’s on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and it’s a 4:30 tip. There other Big Monday appearance is February 7th at Kansas. KU and K-State appear on four of the five Big 12 selections for Big Monday, the most of any team in the conference.

In other Mizzou basketball news, three former Tigers wrapped up NBA summer league play. Thomas Gardner played for Utah in the Orlando Summer League and average four points and 12 minutes in five games. Gardner played in Belgium this past season. DeMarre Carroll, after his first NBA season with Memphis, averaged 9 points and 7 rebounds and averaged 30 minutes in the Las Vegas Summer League. Leo Lyons, who played in Israel last year, appeared in four games and averaged 10 points in four game while playing for the Knicks.
