Seven juveniles and an 18 year old adult, all members of the Seneca, Missouri High School Football team face a total of 39 felony charges for aggravated battery following an alleged hazing incident during a football camp last month at Pittsburg State University.

Pittsburg State University police interviewed over 50 students and there are 17 victims, all freshmen and up to 15 suspects with more charges possibly coming. The type of hazing that took place included students getting hit with plastic curtain rods. Seneca’s football coaching staff served as chaperones, but no charges have been filed against any coaches.
