The House and Senate have come to agreements on the final versions of the so-called “Ford bill,” and a bill for pension reform that aims to fund the tax incentives. The bills have now been sent to the Governor’s desk.

Starting work shortly after 9:00am Wednesday, the House passed both of the bills, with the pension reform bill being sent back to the Senate for consideration just before noon Wednesday.

The House took action in a matter of a couple hours, compared to the Senate which previously took more than 20 hours to finally get to a vote thanks to a filibuster on the Ford bill that started just after noon on Tuesday.

After the Senate passed the final version of the pension reform bill Wednesday afternoon, the special session officially ended, fulfilling the call from Gov. Nixon.
