Milwaukee Brewers left handed starter Randy Wolf held the Cardinals to just four hits in 6.1 innings in a 4-1 loss for St. Louis Thursday night at Busch Stadium.

Albert Pujols hit his 19th homer, a solo shot in the seventh inning for the Cardinals only run. That cut the lead to 3-1. However the Brewers showed some pop of their own hitting three home runs. The first two came off starter Blake Hawksworth. Casey McGehee hit a solo shot to lead off the second inning. Then in the fifth after a lead off single, Hawksworth gave up a homer to George Kottaras making the score 3-0.

Prince Fielder added his 18th homer off Fernando Salas in the eighth.

Hawksworth took the loss. He is now 2-5.
