It was like old times for Royals fans this weekend where they celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Royals beating the Cardinals in the World Series. The Royals took two out of three after a big 10-3 win Sunday afternoon.

Bruce Chen worked out of two bases loaded jams in the first inning, escaping with just one run allowed and that helped as Chen went five innings allowing just two runs total to pick up his fourth win of the season.

Cardinals rookie starter Jaime Garcia did not last long taking the loss. He last just two innings while pitching into the third and getting charge with five runs. Garcia gave up a three run homer to Wilson Betemit in the second with two outs. Jason Kendall finished 3 for 5 with four RBIs. David DeJesus was 3 for 5 with a couple of runs driven in.
