Kleiza could be headed back to the NBA

June 23, 2010 By Bill Pollock

Former Missouri Tiger basketball star Linas Kleiza may be back in the NBA after playing a year in Greece. His former team, the Denver Nuggets have made a qualifying offer to Kleiza who is a restricted free agent. He played four season with Denver after he was a first round draft pick of Portland back in 2005.

In four seasons with the Nuggets, the 6’8, 245 pound forward played in just over 300 games averaging 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds. Portland traded Kleiza to Denver after grabbing him with the 27th pick. Kleiza played two years at Missouri.
