Emergency officials now watching Mississippi as water rises

John Campbell, Operations Chief for the State Emergency Management Agency, says there are some problems along the Mississippi in Alexandria in Clark Co.; Highway 61 near the Iowa border is closed due to flooding. He says there is some standing water there due to heavy rain in last 24 hours. Clarksville in Pike Co. doing some precautionary sandbagging.
SEMA has detailed flooding problems as of today along the Missouri and the Mississippi in its most recent situation report, which came out this afternoon.
