The NHL and St. Louis Blues released their 2010-2011 schedule on Tuesday morning. Two of the Blues first three home games will be against the Stanley Cup Finalists.  The Blues will host the Eastern Conference Champion Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, October 9th in the teams season opener.

The Blues will play the Ducks that next Monday before going on the road for three games including a trip to the Madhouse on Madison to play the Stanley Cup Champion Hawks on Monday, October 18th.  The Blues and Blackhawks meet up on Friday, October 22nd in St. Louis. 

Detroit makes three trips to St. Louis, with the first not until December 23rd.  Another highlight is March 10th.  Jaroslav Halak was popular in Montreal last season,  leading the Canadiens to playoff upsets of Washington and Pittsburgh before losing to Philadelphia in the conference final. He was traded to the Blues last week as he approaches restricted free agency on July 1.
