Bellator Fighting Championships crowned its second Season 2 champion Thursday night as former Missouri, NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren beat MMA star Dan Hornbuckle in all three rounds. In front of a biased crowd at the Kansas City Power & Light District, the former olympian won a unanimous decision victory. Askren is now 6-0 and pocketed $100,000 for the win.
