Baseball’s Commissioner Bud Selig will be at Kauffman Stadium today for an announcement prior to the Royals-Astros game where it is expected that he will name Kansas City as the site of the 2012 All-Star Game. If you’re going to the game tonight, you can get in at 4:30 to hear his announcement at 5pm.

The economic impact is estimated at $65 million, and it will be Kansas City’s first major sporting event since the 1988 Final Four.
