Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Missouri officially becomes “The Summer Home of the Chiefs,” as 2010 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp kicks off July 30th. This will be the first time in 20 years that the Chiefs will be training in Missouri.
Training camp will be highlighted by Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 7th as the Chiefs will conduct an intrasquad scrimmage at 1:30 PM at Spratt Stadium. A full team autograph session will be held prior to the scrimmage as the Chiefs prepare for their preseason schedule. MWSU will charge a $10 admission fee on Family Fun Day with free admission for children three and under.
The Chiefs are scheduled to conduct a free night practice at Spratt Stadium on Wednesday, August 4th at 7:15 PM. In addition, MWSU will host a special Training Camp Sendoff Event on Wednesday, August 18th. This evening full of special activities will include Chiefs practice, beginning at 7:15 PM. MWSU’s admission fee for the Training Camp Sendoff Event on August 18th will be determined at a later date.
