Rhean TaylorIt an otherwise gloomy two games at the Women’s College World Series for Missouri, one Tiger softball player outshined all of the competition. Junior Rhea Taylor was selected to the 2010 Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team.

Taylor led all hitters at the Women’s College World Series with a .714 batting average after going 5-for-7 in her two games. She scored a pair of runs, and drove home a run on a solo home run against Hawaii that put Missouri up 2-1 at the time. Her on base percentage was .750.

In the Tigers’ second trip to the WCWS, Rhea is the first Tiger to ever be named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team.
