The run for the Central Missouri Mules in the NCAA Division II Championship is over. The number three Mules lost their game this afternoon in Cary, North Carolina to the number four Bobcats of Georgia College and State by a final score of 9-4.
The Mules would jump out to a 4-2 lead in the third, before being shut out for the rest of the game by the Bobcats. Central Missouri would only manage only two hits over the last six innings.
The Mules finish their season with a record of 52-11. They will finish in a tie for fifth in the Division II Championships.
