Just three days after losing three straight to the Texas Longhorns in Columbia, the Missouri Tigers exact a bit of revenge today in the Big 12 baseball tournament.  The number eight seed Tigers beat the number one seed Longhorns, 7-3.

Tiger pitcher Nick Tepesch would throw his second complete game in his last three games to pick up the win.  He would strike out five, while giving up three runs, two of which were earned.

The loss ended the Longhorns seven game winning streak.  It is also just the second loss for Texas in their last 30 games.  This was the first time the Tigers had beaten the Longhorns all season.

Missouri is now 28-25 on the season.  The Tigers have won their opening game of the Big 12 Championship in six of the last seven years.

The Tigers will continue play in the Big 12 Tournament tomorrow in Oklahoma City.  Mizzou will face Texas A&M.  The Aggies are also 1-0 in the tournament after defeating Texas Tech today 9-2.

Game time tomorrow night is 7:30.
