Senate starts compromise ethics bill debate (AUDIO)

May 13, 2010 By [email protected]

The ethics bill, battered during a partisan display by the House majority a week ago, is headed toward final passage today. A compromise bill that has trashed the extraneous amendments added in the House last week has come up for debate in the Senate. A minor wording glitch has forced the Senate to take a break until the problem can be solved but final approval in the Senate is expected this afternoon, sending the bill back to the House.
