Central Missouri gets ready for regional (PODCAST)

May 11, 2010 By Bill Pollock

The Central Missouri Mules are 47-8, winners of the regular and MIAA post conference title. This Thursday they get set to host the South Central Regionals, a six team tournament to determine who moves on to play for the national title.

With me on today’s Pressbox Podcast is Mules head coach Tommy Myers. The Mules are the top seed and will play Nebraska-Omaha in one of the first-round games on Thursday. The other first-round pairings feature number two seed Abilene Christian against St. Mary’s, and third-seed Emporia State against Incarnate Word.

Click to listen as Coach Myers breaks down this upcoming season and takes a look back at Sunday’s two wins over Emporia State to win the MIAA tournament.
