With singles in his first two at-bats on Sunday, Missouri senior Aaron Senne set the Missouri all-time career record for hits with 275 in Sunday’s 16-15 loss against Texas Tech.  Senne is hitting .416 this year with 12 home runs and 45 RBI, which is just two shy of completing a triple crown on the Tigers.

Senne is two RBI behind teammate Brett Nicholas, who hit a two run homer in the top of the sixth inning to extend his hitting streak to 18 games. Its the longest streak at Mizzou since 2002 when Jayce Tingler hit in 24 games. By the way, Senne’s 275th hit also surpassed Tingler’s previous record of 274.

With the Tiger’s loss on Sunday, the Tigers fell to 23-19 on the year and 7-10 in the Big 12
