Two days after the NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams signed 13 free agents from the college ranks. Running back Brian Westbrook, the former Eagle is thinking over his options after visiting the Rams and getting a medical clearance to play. He’d provide some solid back up for Stephen Jackson. The Chiefs signed 11 undrafted free agents including former Joplin High two-way star Andrew Lewis who is a 6’4, 298 pound offensive tackle from Oklahoma State.
Missouri defensive end Brian Coulter will get a workout with the Chicago Bears. Receiver Jared Perry signed a free agent contract with the 49ers. Defensive lineman Jaron Baston is headed to Denver and Danario Alexander is still looking at some options on the table.
