Despite signing a long term contract last year with the University of Missouri, and after saying a polite no earlier in the week, head basketball coach Mike Anderson decides to meet with the University of Oregon about their head coaching vacancy.

Right now, not much is known about the meeting yesterday between Anderson and former Oregon Athletic Director Pat Killkenny.

The meeting was held in El Paso, Texas where Anderson was playing in a golf tournament organized by his mentor Nolan Richardson.

Several Oregon media outlets are reporting, if an offer was made to Anderson, it would mean between 2 and 3 million dollars a year.  Right now, with his seven year deal, he makes about a million and a half at Mizzou.

Anderson is expected to be back in Columbia today.
