Report that Anderson turns down Oregon

April 14, 2010 By Bill Pollock

WHB Radio out of Kansas City ran a story reporting that Missouri men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson turned down an offer to coach at Oregon. The reported deal was worth $3 million per year.

Anderson has been a hot commodity ever since the Elite 8 run a couple of season’s ago. He signed a seven year extension with Missouri after that season and has turned down offers to coach at Georgia, Alabama, and Memphis. Now it appears, he also turned down Oregon.

Great news for Tiger fans.
