CMSU Bowlers Lose At NCAA Championships

April 10, 2010 By Missourinet Sports

The schedule was not in favor of the Central Missouri Jennies bowling team as they would have a tough draw in the elimination round of the NCAA Championships on Friday. The Jennies would lose both of their matches, one to the defending national champion, and see their season come to an end.

Central Missouri would win the first game against defending national champion Nebraska 189-169. The Jennies would then lose the next four to the Huskers, 205-235, 181-239, 157-159, 174-190.

The Jennies moved on to face New Jersey City. Central would tie the first game 189-189, but then went on to lose the next four matches 183-244, 193-194, 181-193, 149-188.

This was the seventh straight season the Jennies have made the NCAA Championships. They finished the season with a record of 86-44.
