The Kansas City Chiefs signed LB Derrick Johnson and G/T Ikechuku Ndukwe have signed their restricted free agent tenders and will remain with the Chiefs for 2010.

Johnson (6-3, 242) has played in 74 games (61 starts) with Kansas City (2005-09), recording 424 tackles (334 solo) and 13.0 sacks (-90.0 yards). He also owns six INTs for 200 yards with two TDs, 31 passes defensed, 11 forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and 21 QB pressures. Johnson entered the NFL as a first-round selection (15th overall) of the Chiefs in the 2005 NFL Draft.

Ndukwe (6-4, 325)saw action in 12 game (three starts) with Kansas City in 2009 after being acquired in a trade from Miami. The Morgantown, West Virginia native entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with New Orleans in 2005. Ndukwe was a four-year letterman at Northwestern and prepped at Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio
