Park University (Mo.) overcame double-digit deficits in each half to come back for an 83-75 win against Georgetown College (Ky.) in the first round of the NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship at Municipal Auditorium.

Senior Herschel Rodgers scored 22 of his game-high 24 points in the second half to lead the unseeded Pirates into second-round play on Friday. Rodgers also grabbed nine rebounds. Park will meet 6th ranked Biola University (Calif.) on Friday at 6:15 p.m. CT. Park improves to 23-9 overall.

Junior forward Kyle Rausch added 17 points and nine rebounds in the victory for Park. Senior guard Terrell Dyer chipped in 11 points and a team-leading seven assists for the Pirates. Park shot 64.3 percent in the second half (18-of-28) to rally for the win.
