The Saint Louis Billikens will host Indiana State in the first round of the 2010 College Basketball Invitational or CBI on Tuesday at 8pm at Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens play in the postseason for the first time since the 2004 NIT. SLU is 20-11 and finished fourth in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Indiana State is 17-14. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals to be played March 22 against the winner of the Akron vs. UW-Green Bay game.

The CBI features 16 teams from across the country playing for a postseason championship with each game played on home campus sites. The first three rounds of the CBI are single-elimination. The two teams competing for the title will play a best-of-three series with the higher seed hosting two games should a third be necessary.
