Defense was the name of this game in Manhattan KS on Saturday night as the 6th ranked K-State Wildcats came up with a 63-53 win on a poor shooting night for both teams.
The Wildcats were led by Curtis Kelly who had a double-double. Things looked OK for Missouri in the first half as they held K-State to its worst shooting half in 14 years at 18%.
Kim English had 13 points and J.T. Tiller added 11 for Missouri, which was 4 for 18 from 3-point range and shot 31 percent overall.
Kelly had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Kansas State, which was 4 of 17 from 3-point range and shot 33 percent from the floor.
