With just three games to go before the start of the Atlantic 10 tournament, the 18-9 Saint Louis University Billikens will be at the Chaifetz Arena tonight for a game against the Duquesne Dukes.  The last time these two teams met, free basketball was on tap as it was a double overtime affair won by SLU.

For the Billikens, every game is crucial as they continue to try and stay close to the top of the Atlantic 10 standings.  They currently are tied with Charlotte for second place in conference, two games behind three teams tied for first.  The Billikens and 49ers are each 9-4 in conference play.  Richmond, Temple and Xavier sit atop the conference with the same 11-2 conference mark.

The Bills have really enjoyed their home court, as they have only lost twice at home all season.  Other than the Xavier loss on Wednesday night, their last loss at the Chaifetz Arena was back in December against Missouri State.

Duquesne comes into this game on a three game winning streak beating LaSalle, Charlotte and Dayton.  The Dukes have also won six of their last nine games.  Saint Louis will be the third straight 18 win team that Duquesne will play in the last two weeks.

After tonight’s game, the Billikens will finish up the season with a game next Wednesday against Temple at home, before hitting the road a week from today to take on Dayton.  Saint Louis will start play in the Atlantic 10 tournament on March 9th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

SLU and Duquesne will tip off at 7:00 tonight at the Chaifetz Arena.
