Central Missouri’s Sanijay Watts was named the MIAA conference player of the week. He led the Mules to a couple of road wins, a 74-64 win at Washburn and a 79-63 win in front of 6,200 fans at No. 10 Fort Hays State.

The senior from St. Louis, Mo., averaged 23.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game while hitting 63.0 percent from the floor. On Saturday, he scored 30 points and picked up 17 rebounds, the most in the Kim Anderson era at Central Missouri. The Mules are ranked third in the country.

The Mules have a two game lead over Ft. Hays State and have just one loss on the year, that came against the Tigers at home.
