The Missouri Tiger women’s basketball, the worse three point shooting team in the Big 12 nearly ended Nebraska’s perfect run by nailing eight three pointers, but Nebraska rallied late to pull off the 82-78 win at Mizzou Arena Saturday afternoon.

The Huskers were down by six with just over three minutes to play. Trailing 78-72, Kelsey Griffin scored and then Cory Montgomery hit a three pointer to make it 78-77. NU went on top 79-78 after Yvonne Turner hit two free throws with 42.6 seconds left. Lindsey Moore and Turner came up with late steals and each of them hit their free throws to clinch the win.

Griffin came up big for Nebraska leading the way with 28 points. The Huskers move to 23-0 overall and 10-0 in the conference. Missouri is 11-13 overall and 1-10 in Big 12 play.
