The Mizzou Tigers take their show on the road for a game this afternoon in Boulder against the Colorado Buffaloes. For the Tigers, they will be trying to forget their loss on Wednesday night at the Mizzou Arena against Texas A & M, which brought to an end their 32 game home court winning streak.

Unlike the Aggies, head coach Mike Anderson brings a perfect mark of 6-0 against Colorado into today’s game, with three of those wins coming in Boulder. It was about this same time last season, that the Tigers went into Boulder and came away with a 66-53 win.

The Tigers come into this game after losing on Wednesday night against Texas A & M. Mizzou did actually lead at one point by 10 points, but they would go ice cold for a span of more than 10 minutes in the second half. Still, the Tigers did not give up and almost tied the game to send it into overtime.

The Buffaloes had excitement of their own earlier this week on their home floor. With about 10 seconds left in the game, they found themselves in a tie ballgame with the number one Kansas Jayhawks. But, the Buffaloes could not convert on their last shot and the game went into overtime. In the extra session, the Jayhawks proved to be too much and pulled away for the win.

Mizzou will be looking for their second Big 12 road win of the season. Back in January, the Tigers had to go to overtime to take care of Texas Tech. This may not be the easiest of tasks, as the new look Buffaloes are 10-2 on their home floor.

The Tigers have the all time series lead against the Buffaloes, and Mizzou has won the last six meetings between them. Mizzou also has a three game winning streak in Boulder dating back to Coach Anderson’s first season as head coach.

Mizzou and Colorado will tip off at the Coor’s Center at 3:00 this afternoon.
