Fresh off a win Thursday night in Edmonton against the Oilers, the St. Louis Blues are back at the Scottrade Center tonight for a game against one of their rivals, the Columbus Blue Jackets.  This will be the fourth of six meetings between these two teams.

The win by the Blues on Thursday night now gives them 56 points on the season.  This inches the Blues ever closer to the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.  St. Louis has a record of 24-22-8 on the season.

So far out of the three meetings, the Blue Jackets have the 2-1 edge.  Back in November, the Blues Jackets came to St. Louis and beat the Blues 5-2.  On January 12th, the Blues took care of business on their home ice beating Columbus 4-1.  On the 19th of this month, the Blue Jackets defended their home ice with a 4-2 win.

The Blue Jackets come into St. Louis after having lost to Los Angeles at home on Thursday.  Columbus is now 21-26-9 on the season, giving them a total of 51 points on the season.

In the series between these two teams, the Blues have a 31-18-3-2 edge.  St. Louis will also have the advantage of home ice as Columbus has won only four times at the Scottrade Center.

St. Louis Blues game time is 7:00 tonight.
