The Missouri women were looking for another upset over a ranked team, but it didn’t happen last night as Mizzou lost to the #15 Oklahoma State Cowgirls 75-60. The Tigers fall to 11-8 overall and 1-5 in Big 12 Conference play while the Cowgirls improve to 17-3 and 5-1.

Senior Amanda Hanneman led the Tigers with 19 points while senior Jessra Johnson posted her 12th career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Christine Flores joined the seniors in double figures with 13 points.

Hanneman hit five three pointers and MU cut the OSU to as little as nine at 53-44 with just over seven minutes to play, but the Cowgirls went on a 17-3 explosion over the next four minutes to put the game out of reach..

Mizzou returns home Saturday against Kansas. It’s the Heart of the Tiger event. All tickets for the game are just $1 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to heart health research. The first 500 fans will also receive a free T-shirt.
