Some state lawmakers are out to correct some poor policy enacted last year—when the legislature made it legal for drivers older than 21 to text while they’re driving. The law passed last year bans texting only for people 21 and younger.

Since the bill was passed last year, the federal transportation department has banned texting for all truck and bus drivers. And PresidentObama has banned federal workers from texting while they’re driving government vehicles.
