For the St. Louis Blues, a change at coach was thought to be the answer for a team that was not playing to its potential. However, since that change was made, the Blues have dropped three straight and enter their game tonight with Los Angeles on a seven game losing streak.

The Blues come into this game after losing to Anaheim 4-2 on Thursday night, adding to their longest losing streak since 2006. The Kings also dropped their game on Thursday to Detroit, 2-1.

This will be the third time that these two teams have met this season. The Blues won the last game back on December 5th in a shoot out 5-4. The Kings won the first meeting 2-1 on October 10th.

While it may be a bit early to talk about playoff contention, the Blues are currently 12 points out of the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. The loss on Thursday dropped the Note to 14th place in the Conference.

After this game, the Blues will be back at the Scottrade Center to start a three game homestand on Tuesday against Columbus.

St. Louis Blues game time is 9:30 tonight.
