Three Missouri schools in D-II basketball’s top 20

January 6, 2010 By Bill Pollock

The Central Missouri Mules remain on top, as the rankings do not reflect the games played on Monday, their 10 point loss to Fort Hays State. The Mules will certainly slided as there are eight undefeated teams in the NCAA Division II ranks right behind Central Missouri.

The top five spots overall remained unchanged with Florida Southern second, Augusta State third, Indiana (Pa.) fourth and Arkansas Tech in the fifth spot. Southwest Baptist stays at No. 11 with a 13-2 record and is followed by a trio of one-loss teams in Valdosta State, Kentucky Wesleyan and Western Washington. Drury, out of Springfield with their 9-2 record moved up from 20th to 18th this week.
