As we head into 2010, there are a couple of things to watch for this weekend for St. Louis pro teams. First, the Blues are a miserable 6-13-2 in games at the Scott and they have two more this weekend starting tonight with the Vancouver Canucks. Then on Saturday, the Blues will host division leading Chicago.

He was the last Los Angeles Ram to stick on the roster, the first St. Louis Ram to make it to a Pro Bowl and was here for the good and the bad…now 16 year vet Isaac Bruce returns to St. Louis with the 49ers in what could be his last game in the NFL. Keep your fingers crossed, because if the Rams lose, they are assured the number one pick in the upcoming draft and Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh would look good wearing the horns on helmet next year.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that the Cardinals could wrap up a deal next week with free agent outfielder Matt Holliday in what could be the biggest deal in franchise history surpassing Albert Pujols’ $100 million extension in 2004.
