Missouri Tigers head coach Mike Anderson lit a fire under his team, when he replaced his starters after they missed their first nine shots. Mizzou responded and coasted to a 91-57 win over the UMKC Kangaroos.

Zaire Taylor, who lost his starting job to Michael Dixon for the third straight game helped spark the Tigers. UMKC jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but then the Tigers answered with a 14-0 run from the bench.

Taylor finished with 10 points and Laurence Bowers led the Tigers with 17. Marcus Denmon had 14 and Kim English put in 11, all in the second half after being shut out the first 20 minutes.

Bakari Lewis led UMKC with 9 points as they shot 36% for the game. Missouri shot well over 50% after their first nine misfires. The Tigers need to tighten things up as the competition gets tougher this Saturday against Georgia.
