A late rally by the St. Louis Blues came up short as they lost for the 13th time at home losing 4-3 to the Nashville Predators. Nashville is now 24-6-3 against the Blues since the 2005-06 season. The Blues have two games at home this week to try to turn around their luck at the Scott.

Things looked good early for the Blues as Carlo Colaiacovo scored just a minute and a half into the game, but the Preds responded with four straight goals, included two in the first period. J.P. Dumont made it 4-1 just five minutes into the third period. Then the Blues rallied with a goal from Alex Steen midway through the final period and Andy McDonald scored on a power play goal at 12:30 of the third.

The Blues will play Vancouver on Thursday and the Blackhawks on Saturday wrapping up a four game home stand. This was time last year when the Blues turned their season around. It was on January 2nd, when the team was in last place in the Western Conference and found a way to get to the playoffs. Is there any magic left for the Blues this season?
