The Missouri Tigers used a late first half run to turn a 33-32 game into a 51-35 halftime lead. From there, the Tigers never looked back winning 94-79 Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.

Austin Peay outrebounded Missouri 31-27 for the game and came up with 13 offensive rebounds for the games.  That helped keep the Governors in the game early.  Missouri’s biggest lead of the first half was five, until the Tigers finished off the final five minutes of the first half on a 18-3 run.

The Tigers shot a season’s best 62% from the field including 10 of 19 on three pointers.  Kim English led Mizzou with 23 points.  Marcus Denmon added 17 off the bench.  Michael Dixon, getting the start again had 12.  Dixon also had four steals and four assists.

Mizzou, now 9-3, will play again Wednesday against UMKC at Mizzou Arena.
