Governor Nixon issues a Christmas message for Missourians, stating that today is the day we celebrate the gift of God’s love and grace, and give thanks for all our blessings. The governor also says that Missourians should pause from their celebrations to remember their fellow Missourians serving in the military. Nixon says we can never repay them for their selfless service, but can pray that they complete their mission safely and come home soon.
The governor says he and First Lady Georganne Wheeler Nixon extend their best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
