The Central Missouri Mules baseball team is ranked 11th in the preseason Collegiate Baseball Newspaper NCAA Division II Preseason Coaches Poll. The Mules went 44-15 in 2009 and finished second in the MIAA and NCAA regional tournaments. In two seasons, head coach Tommy Meyers is 91-31 and in 2008, the Mules finished 4th in the D-II World Series.
The season starts February 5th and 6th in Edmond, Oklahoma on the campus of Central Oklahoma where the Mules will play the host school on the fifth and then again on the sixth, apart of a doubleheader with Arkansas-Ft. Smith.
