The Missouri State Bears will try to stay perfect on the season as they are in St. Louis for a game tonight against their in state rival, the Saint Louis University Billikens. SLU has a record of 7-3 on the season.It has been a week since the Bears were last on the court. Last Saturday, Missouri State started a four game road trip with a 75-64 win over Arkansas State. The Bears were led by Will Creekmore who scored 17 points. Kyle Weems and Adam Leonard each scored 15.

Saint Louis University is coming off a win Wednesday night at the Chaifetz Arena against Belmont. All seven of the Billiken wins have come at home this season. Saint Louis is led by Willie Reed who is averaging 14 points per game and Kwamain Mitchell who is also averaging nearly 14 points per game.

This rivalry has been led by Missouri State who has a 15-7 record in the series. The Bears have won four of the last five meetings, including their last game which was in 2007. Missouri State has never played inside the Billiken’s Chaifetz Arena which just opened last season.
